Bookkeeper / Data Analyst

We are seeking a Bookkeeper / Data Analyst to join our accounting and administrative team. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial reporting, account reconciliation, accounts payable, client billing and more. Working closely with the Accounting Manager, candidate will also provide administrative assistance that includes maintaining filing systems, preparation of internal reports, ordering supplies, etc. We’re looking for a candidate who has strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of GAAP and experience with financial analysis and cost reporting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Process Trade and Operating vendor invoices, working closely with the Sales Team
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the Accounting department, including filing, report generation, cost analysis, and bank deposits.
  • Generate and distribute client billing daily
  • Monitor credit card charges, including reconciling of monthly invoice
  • Assist with collections, including communication with client’s about billing questions
  • Preparation of internal financial reports and support of quarterly and annual accounting activities as necessary
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Qualifications
  • Attention to detail and good record-keeping skills a must.
  • Ability to prioritize projects to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced Excel skills required. Experience with QuickBooks a plus.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

Assistant Manager, Creative Design and Vendor Management

AlphaGraphics in the Cultural District is looking for a full-time Assistant Manager, Creative Design and Vendor Management to work exclusively with our client at UPMC.

The Assistant Manager will perform the administration, organization and secretarial work involved in managing the workflow of all media production. This position requires management of a team of designers to produce world-class creative assets and marketing campaigns. The Assistant Manager will continually evaluate and improve upon existing workflows, departmental communications, and represent creative services in Marketing management meetings as necessary. Under the guidance of the Sr. Manager Creative Design, this job will also require the monitoring and continuing development of the many brands under the Integrated Delivery System, including building systems, processes and relationships to help maintain brand consistency.

Responsibilities

Own external agency relationship.

  • Understand and convey all strategic goals of line of business campaign.
  • Own responsibility of quality check on all material content.
  • Manage design professionals in the delivery of products and services for the Medicaid Line of Business of media delivery and services, including but not limited to print ads, direct mail, newsletters, brochures, digital correspondence, web design, and all other campaign necessary materials.
  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day account execution (timely correspondence, weekly reporting, etc.). Effectively communicate project and campaign goals between internal clients and agency partners. Maintain/follow internal systems in order to deliver quality work to the client.
  • Build and foster relationships with internal and external teams.
  • Coordinate and monitor workflow software to facilitate projects.
  • Work to establish formal internal creative review process with for Sr. Director Creative Strategy. Monitor and manage production schedules for timely delivery.
  • Communicate production status to management on regular basis.
  • Work with Managers to coordinate, plan and delegate daily work responsibilities to production staff. Build positive working relationships with co-workers to achieve productivity.

Educational and Knowledge Requirements

  • 5 years experience in advertising/marketing/communications
  • 5 years supervisory experience in the management

  • Agency experience preferred
  • B.A. in Marketing or related field
  • Ability to manage details on many projects and quickly switch between tasks
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills

Senior Creative Designer

Reporting to the Design and Marketing Manager, the Senior Creative Designer will:

VISIONARY

  • Enhance the company’s reputation by exploring opportunities to expand current design and marketing capabilities.

STRATEGIC

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues across all departments by ensuring interactions are welcoming, considerate, and focused on creative problem-solving.
  • Develop client relationships and oversee their brand, ensuring consistency.
  • Translate client’s business objectives into compelling creative design solutions through comprehensive research and strategy across multiple print and digital channels.
